Interested? This one is way out there. Big bucks and risky in my opinion. I published it in the zine this morning.

Here it is:

Dave Turner Says. "Follow Me to the Money Tree!"

Would you like to make huge amounts of money while doing absolutely nothing to get it, or without being taught anything about getting it? Stupid question huh? I don't know anyone that would answer that question with a NO. Is there a way to accomplish such a goal? Not on this plane of reality. Sorry if that disappoints you, but it is the truth. Everything in life requires effort, and all real business requires capital to start. Understand...there is no free ride. Okay, you could win the lottery, but honestly, what are the odds of that?

Now, with that said, let's have a look at a business, which appears to be a great opportunity...

Home-Based-Business-123.com...

Your Source For A Legitimate Home Based Business

"Cash For Christmas! Join My Home Business Opportunity Now And Get A Check Before Christmas...Guaranteed!"

This is the headline for this web site. The site is owned by Mr. David Turner; self-proclaimed home business expert. His list of published articles is quite impressive. You can find an extensive list of them on site.

Mr. Turner's program is not really a program. It is an opportunity of sorts. He will assign a product, "most likely an e-book", to you, market it for you, follow up on it and handle everything involved in the sale of the product, and you get paid.

He assigns you the product...

He markets it for you....

You get the money...

What's the catch?

The cost of this deal is $995.00 a year! One full year.

If you have been to this web site, I hope you read it as I did. I was simply amazed at what a fan Mr. Turner has in himself. I wonder if he sold used cars in a past life? (He reminds me of a Mr. David Eck, Predatory Marketing.) Is this guy for real?

What is the exact product you will be marketing for me Mr. Turner? You only say most likely an e-book. What kind of e-book? Can I read it myself? What if I don't like, or want to endorse that particular product? Do I have any say in what product I am to be assigned, or am I just not supposed to care, because it will make money regardless of whether or not I like it? At least you guarantee that it won't be illegal or smutty, and you promise not to teach me anything. That is something.

Here are a few words right from his web site, to give you an idea of what he's offering:

"Here's the deal: I will provide you with a professional website, select a "HOT" product or service for you, take care of the hosting, search engines, promotion, maintenance and everything else!

This home business venture will be completely hands-off for you. The only thing you ever have to do is take your checks to the bank! It doesn't get any easier than that! However, I WILL NOT be mentoring or teaching you. I simply don't have the time to do that!
I WILL MAKE MONEY FOR YOU--period!

...If I select a service for you, it will be something equally "HOT," like website hosting and design...

It's really a win-win situation for both of us. I make a few dollars for my time, and you get the security of a Guaranteed monthly income and a great home business newsletter! You can't lose!

Speaking of Guarantees, I Guarantee to have you up and running and making money within 30 days!

I also Guarantee that you'll make back your investment within the one year time period, or I'll give you a full and complete refund! Plus, you can keep all the money you earn during the course of the year!

At the end of one year, you have the option of purchasing your website outright for an additional $995.00. Or you can continue to have me manage your website for the same exact fee."

He does provide a list of testimonials, and 800 numbers to call to check out his credibility, but I don't like how he states that he will make a "few" dollars for his time. To me, $995.00 is more than just a few dollars. Let's be honest here... if 10 people buy into this, he's going to make $10,000.00, without having done more than successfully convince 10 people that he's great. Chump change? I think NOT.

I also don't like the way he goes from claiming that you can be making $500 - $1000 a month, but later states that he guarantees that you'll make your $995.00 back in one year, or you get a refund. Which is the reality of the situation... $1000/month, or $1000/year? Personally, I would like to see a ROI before 12 months have elapsed, especially considering this is not a small investment to begin with.

In my humble opinion, this is an awfully steep outlay of cash in something that is as undefined as this seems to be. No product specifics are given. It sounds more like an investment in Mr. Turner than a business. I would think that this is an investment that most every-day people can't afford to risk, and in the copy on his web site, Mr. Turner plainly states that his offer is not for those people who are not willing to take risks.

This player says, Buyer Beware! I think John Q. Public can do better than this.
