600 multi-level companies. I'd like to think I picked the best one but you may disagree. Either way, you've got to check out the information on this page. Whether you're a seasoned network marketing pro or you don't even know what the term "multi-level marketing" means, you will learn a lot from the this information. If you haven't chosen an MLM yet, good. Take your time. Multi-level marketing can be a risky thing to get in to. You've got to choose the company wisely. You can succeed in network marketing. Amway is to some considered the grandfather of multilevel marketing. I like to think of Amway more as the godfather of multi-level opportunities. The company sells mainly household and personal care products like carpet cleaner, shampoo, and soap. I basically find two different and extreme opinions on Amway. Either the person has made a fortune with the program and loves it, or they were formerly involved with Amway and absolutely hate it. Many on the internet claim Amway is a scam. I would not call the network marketing company a scam simply because they've been around so many years. I just feel the Amway opportunity doesn't offer a good compensation plan or any particularly unique products. I think a multilevel marketing companies' profits should mainly go to the distributors. Quixstar is the Amway program online basically. As a Quickstar IBO you are very restricted as far as what you are allowed to do in the program. An MLM should not be this way. You should be allowed to do all kinds of real marketing so that you can generate good leads for the business. Remember, treat your multilevel program like a business - the way it should be treated. Generating a bunch of high quality leads is the only way you are going to be able to build yourself a large organization in Quickstar, unless you resort to making a list of friends and family! I don't know about you but I'm not comfortable approaching my Aunts and Uncles about such things as a home based business or selling soap. This is what lead generation takes the place of. You're only talking to people who have seen some form of what you're doing and then raised their hand in some way, whether it's an online form to fill out or an 800 number to call. When Quixtar's e-commerce site first opened in late 1999, it didn't even work!Their web presence was busted and they were SOL. What do you expect from a company that hypes people up to get them to buh their products. If they had more values, maybe it would have launched smoothly. You know the saying, what goes around comes around! And, did you know that the committee board who made up Quickstar IBO rules was the all Awmay people? I would have to say that one of the biggest factors of MLM success is making sure the company you are going to deal with has been around at least five years.. Bare minimum. The best time to catch an mlm company is when they are right around five years old and you can tell they will be booming over the years to come. You may be able to tell this around the 3-4 yearold mark, but just be careful. Everyone has heard bad things from someone about Amway. Look at what they sell... soap! Who wants to buy some crummy old soap?! Especially when you can get it at wall mart for half the price. What is going to keep your downline buying when the fail? Certainly not unique products. Haven't heard of Awmay yet? Ask any of your neighbors (but please, tell them up front you're not involved in the program before they run away) and usually what happens is this. One, you will get a ugly smirk from the person, you can just tell that the very word brings a low-level nauseousness... Even heavy hitters in the company sometimes leave because they are not being paid enough. I don't blame them, with a payout of only 7% to the distributors. Upon further analysis of the Quixtar business opportunity, I would say that there are a ton of other programs out there that are much more honest, lucrative, and one's with quality unique products. I just don't see the point in doing an MLM that almost no one has been successful at. The pay plan is structured for the heavy hitter. So how does the beginner make any money? It is really tough in an MLM opportunity like this. I hope you realize that this opportunity is just a Amway reincarnate. That's the truth of the matter.

MLM marketing opportunities have been around, for the most part, since the late 50's when Amway MLM launched. Many people have bad feelings towards mlm, probably because they've either felt they were scammed by an MLM (multi-level marketing) opportunity or seen someone who has. District Court Judge to halt the unlawful operations of SkyBiz.com, charging that the operation that it conducts is actually a massive illegal pyramid scheme which may have conned consumers around the world out of approximately $175,000,000. Excel is probably the largest network marketing telecommunications company. Excel does offer competitive rates at 4.9 cents a minute. Excel charges a monthly fee but that is made up for if you do a lot of calling. The telecommunications industry is so competitive its insane. There are so many companies constantly coming out with new and better rates it would be a full time job to keep up with them! All technology multilevel opportunities face this problem. This is why I did not choose Excel. I instead looked for a program possessing totally unique products
Cognigen looks very good and seem reputable not to mention that their

"distributor" - not at the beginning, middle or end. Obviously
this means that your commissions are based on your retail revenue - and
makes Cognigen unattractive to many hardcore MLM'ers who want huge
