How to avoid Spam Mail?

DO NOT USE "UNSUBSCRIBE" LINKS!!

You should NEVER attempt to "reply" or "unsubscribe" to a "spam" or unsolicited email. Doing so merely confirms to the spammer that your email is active, and may result in your address being sold to other spammers. Simply add the address to your email filter, notify the ISP from where the spam is originating, and delete the message.

WHAT IS A "DROP BOX"?

The spamming address may be a "drop box". This is an account set up for the sole purpose of harvesting the addresses of those who are trying to "unsubscribe" or remove their addresses from future mailings. The account may already be shut down, but you could still be receiving spam from this address. How? The address inserted into the "from" field of the message has been forged and is used to conceal the true origin of the message.
